With nearly two decades of experience, Jose set out to create a company that combined hard work, quality craftsmanship, and forward-thinking use of new technology. Many of his founding principles remain a cornerstone of our operations today.

In 1981, Jose’s son, Joseph Almeida, joined the firm after earning his Bachelor of Science in Architecture. Joseph brought fresh ideas and modern construction practices to complement the company’s longstanding values of dedication, craftsmanship, and hard work, helping Lonsdale grow into one of New England’s most trusted concrete flooring specialists. Today, Joseph’s son, Joe Almeida, represents the third generation of the family business, combining modern technology and project management with the experience and values that have defined Lonsdale for more than four decades.
